“Effortlessly sharp.”

I'm constantly travelling for work. I need pieces that do the job without me having to think about it. I threw this on for a 6am flight. When I landed, my colleague told me I looked rested and put together. That had never happened before.

“My wife said ‘don't change’. Review over.”

Tried it on before dinner. Took a photo in the mirror to send to my wife. She replied ‘don't change’ in under ten seconds. The fabric holds its shape and the cut is exactly right. I've already ordered two more since.

“I haven't told anyone where I shop.”

My mates keep asking what's changed about the way I dress. I've been ordering here for three months and I haven't said a word to anyone. The fabric is dense, the cut is clean, nothing screams ‘trying too hard’. That's the whole point.

“She thought I was Italian.”

First time ordering clothes online in years. Worried about the fit. It was spot on, not too tight, not too loose. Wore it for a dinner by the water on a warm evening. My date thought I was Italian. I'm from Leeds. I'll take it.

“My father told me I finally understand clothes.”

Wore it to my father's birthday dinner. He's 72 and extremely particular. Halfway through the meal he leaned over and said ‘you finally understand what proper clothes are’. That comment alone was worth more than the price of the piece.

“I didn't used to wear pink. Now I do.”

My wife bought it for my birthday. I was sceptical about the colour. Wore it to a Sunday brunch and by the second drink three people had asked me where it was from. I've already ordered two more in other colours.

“They thought I owned the yacht.”

Weekend at a friend's marina. Threw this on Saturday morning with dark jeans. By 10am a couple on the quay had assumed I owned one of the boats. I don't. But I completely understood why they thought so.

“Years spent chasing this look. Finally here.”

I've looked long and hard to find this aesthetic. The closest I got was two or three times the price. The weight of the fabric is exactly right, substantial without being stiff. Worn it four times already. Compliments every time.

“I never leave reviews. This time I had to.”

My mate turned up to a barbecue better dressed than everyone else. It was The Henderson. I ordered the same day. Fits perfectly at 6ft and 13 and a half stone. Three dads at my son's school event asked me where I got it last week.
